Did y'all know that Elon Musk’s Twitter recently added LGBTQ terms (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Transgender, Queer) to it’s “offensive words” list - meaning that links to tweets with words containing them aren’t previewed in twitter DMs and are generally de-boosted (shown to less people) by the website?
Did you also know there exists a character called the zero-width non joiner that you can copy and paste in-between letters of any keyword so that the keyword visually looks the same but isn’t automatically seen by the algorithm as containing a keyword?
Did you also know that having to have a zero-width non joiner to post about being gay is terrifyingly dystopian

It’s true that Homestuck contains a lot of things, and it’s also true that Homestuck fans lie constantly and fluently about what Homestuck contains, secure in the knowledge that it’s logistically impracticable to fact-check them. Like, what are you going to do, actually read it?
Homestucks in the notes are like “oh, we never lie, we just make technically true but misleadingly phrased statements which are calculated to lead those who lack the relevant context to draw incorrect conclusions” as though that’s different. =P
all night long the sword on the wall above my bed has been rattling and i finally woke up all the way and went wtf and turned on the light and found this.
@ those of you saying this is cute… that’s a feral rat. a feral rat hovered over my head watching me sleep for three hours while trying to figure out how to assassinate me with a longsword. thanks.

“average person eats 3 spiders a year” factoid actualy just statistical error. average person eats 0 spiders per year. Spiders Georg, who lives in cave & eats over 10,000 each day, is an outlier adn should not have been counted
An actual World Heritage Post
how does this post not have a million notes but anyone online can quote it
